Assure Okay - Check-in App for People Living Alone
For Organizations

Daily Check-Ins for the People Your Organization Serves

Residents and clients confirm they're okay each day by app, text message, or AI phone call. Your staff see the whole roster at a glance, and the moment someone is missed, the right people are alerted. No hardware, no monitoring centre contracts.

How It Works

A daily contact program that runs itself, instead of sign-in sheets and door knocks

1

Everyone Checks In Their Way

Each person confirms they're okay on a schedule you agree: one tap in the app, a reply to an SMS, answering a friendly AI phone call, or a tap on a smartwatch. Any phone with signal is enough; nobody needs new hardware.

2

Staff See the Whole Roster

One dashboard answers the morning question: 148 of 150 checked in, 2 need attention. No calling round, no paper lists, no wondering. Staff can drill into any person to see their check-in history and schedule.

3

Missed Check-In? Staff Know First

If a check-in window passes with no response, your designated staff are alerted by email, SMS, and push, alongside any family contacts the person has chosen. The gap between something going wrong and someone knowing shrinks from days to hours.

Who It's For

If your organization is responsible for people who live alone, a daily check-in closes the visibility gap between visits

Why Organizations Choose AssureOkay

No Hardware to Buy

No check-in stations to mount, no pendants to charge, no units to maintain. Check-ins run on the phones people already have, and SMS or AI phone calls cover anyone without a smartphone.

Per-Person Pricing on Invoice

Volume pricing per person per month, billed the way organizations buy: invoice, purchase order, net terms. No credit cards and no per-person retail checkouts to administer.

Live in Days, Not Quarters

Import your roster, agree schedules, and people can check in the same week. Start with a small pilot group and expand once your team trusts it.

Families Stay in the Loop

Each person can add their own family contacts alongside your staff, so a missed check-in reaches everyone who cares. For families, that visibility is a reason to choose your community or service.

Consent and Dignity First

The person checks in; staff are only alerted when something may be wrong. No cameras, no sensors in the home, no surveillance. Each person confirms consent and controls what they share.

SOS When It Can't Wait

Beyond scheduled check-ins, anyone can press SOS to alert staff and family immediately, with their location shared if they've turned location sharing on.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is an organization plan priced?

Per person per month, with volume pricing that scales with the size of your roster. Billing is by invoice or purchase order rather than credit card. Contact sales with a rough headcount and we'll send pricing the same day where we can.

Do the people we serve need smartphones?

No. Check-ins work by replying to a text message or answering an AI phone call, so a basic phone or a landline is enough. People with smartphones can use the app, and there are Apple Watch and Wear OS apps too. Most rosters end up mixed, and that's fine.

Who gets alerted when someone misses a check-in?

Your designated staff, by email, SMS, and push notification, and in parallel any family or friends the person has added as their own contacts. You decide who on your team is on the alert list.

Can we start with a small pilot?

Yes, and we recommend it. Most organizations start with a group of 10 to 25 people for a few weeks, let staff get used to the dashboard and alerts, then roll out to the full roster.

Is this a medical alert or emergency response service?

No. AssureOkay is a check-in and alerting service: it tells your staff and a person's chosen contacts that something may be wrong, so real people can respond. It is not a monitored alarm service and does not dispatch emergency responders.

What about privacy and consent?

Each person confirms consent when they first sign in, and controls optional extras like location sharing and wellness responses. Staff see check-in status: okay, missed, or needs attention. They don't get cameras, microphones, or movement sensors, because there aren't any.
