# AssureOkay

> AssureOkay is a safety check-in service for people living alone. Users schedule daily or weekly check-ins and if they fail to respond, their emergency contacts are automatically notified via email, SMS, and optional AI phone calls. Plans start at $4.99/month.

AssureOkay was founded after the tragic 2024 Skegness, UK incident where a 2-year-old boy died alongside his father and wasn't discovered for days. The service provides peace of mind for elderly individuals, single parents, solo travelers, remote workers, pet owners, and anyone living with a chronic illness.

The AssureOkay app is available on the Apple App Store (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/assureokay/id6759099619) and Google Play Store (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.assureokay.app) for iPhone and Android devices, with native Apple Watch and Wear OS companion apps included at no extra cost (one-tap SOS, automatic check-in via Apple Health or Health Connect, watch face complications). No smartphone is required, the service also works via email, web browser, SMS text messages, and AI phone calls to any phone including landlines and flip phones.

Base plan: $4.99/month or $49.99/year (also available in GBP and EUR). Includes up to 5 emergency contacts, flexible scheduling, email and SMS notifications, and wellness check-ins. Plus plan: $8.99/month or $89.99/year. Adds SMS check-ins, AI phone check-ins, automated AI phone-call escalation to your emergency contacts when you miss a check-in or trigger an SOS, digital will storage, and priority support. AssureOkay also works for families and caregivers. You can set up and pay for check-ins on behalf of a loved one (such as an older parent), and emergency contacts can create a free account to follow the people they look after, seeing their check-in status and history, getting notified when they check in or miss a check-in, and, with permission, pausing or resuming their schedule.

AssureOkay also serves organizations that look after people who live alone, such as senior living communities, housing providers, charities, and support agencies. Residents or clients check in on the phone they already own (app, text message, or automated wellness call), staff see everyone on a single dashboard showing who has checked in today, and alerts go out the moment someone is missed. There is no hardware, sensors, cameras, or pendants to install. ## For Families & Caregivers

- Set up for someone else: Create and pay for a check-in account on behalf of a loved one (e.g. an older parent). They receive a passwordless email invitation with a secure sign-in link. For an eligible US, Canadian, or UK mobile number you can also choose to invite them by text message, where they simply reply YES to start their daily check-ins with no app, website, or password (this uses SMS check-ins, part of the Plus plan); the emailed link is always sent as well. Their trial and check-ins start only when they first sign in or reply YES, and the subscription is billed to you. Once activated, the account is theirs to control.
- Watcher dashboard: If you are listed as someone's emergency contact, you can follow them from a free account. When you're added as a contact you receive an invitation, and one tap creates your watcher account (no password, no separate sign-up) and lets you set your alert preferences. Watchers see a read-only view of the person's check-in status, schedule, and history, can be notified when the person checks in or misses a check-in, and, with the person's permission, can pause or resume their check-in schedule. The monitored person is always told who is watching and can revoke access at any time. Watchers don't see passwords, payment details, wellness journals, AI call recordings, or Digital Will contents.
- Passwordless sign-in: AssureOkay accounts have no password. You sign in with a secure single-use link sent to your email, or with Apple or Google sign-in. There is nothing to remember or reset, which matters for older and less tech-comfortable users.
